Broken player data file
The other night I quit out of BF3 and thought I had waited long enough for it to do the save thingy before going back to the dashboard to change games.
When I returned to play BF3 again I was greeted with.. "Existing player profile data appears to be damaged and cannot be used"!!!!
So now every time I load up BF3 I am greeted with this
If I delete my game save on the xbox will this delete all my game data? or is that stuff (online data) saved at EA.

Re: Broken player data file
i get that too, i assumed it was a scratched disc.... think its just to do with your saved settings, as in start up settings, and what you have downloaded etc. Everytime i play i get that then congrats you d/loaded this and this and have to load out my kits again.
Re: Broken player data file
You need to delete your player profile off your Xbox HDD... it will fix the error
I had it ages ago, had to redo the campaign but doesn't effect your MP Rank

So it will only effect my campaign stuff, but not MP... Then that's not a problem then, the sooner i delete it the better.

Re: Broken player data file
Yeah, it just deletes your Save Point in SP.
Once you have deleted the Data File, your MP Weapon Layouts will stay as they should

So much better to be able to just start the game without all the other crap that was popping up due to the damage.
I'll get round to finishing the SP cheevos and need to finish the co op stuff.
