In light of my new endeavour with my pooch.

To those that dont know i have a 20 month old lab called dizzy, check her random personality out here https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Dizzy-Chronicles/308240392545952

Anyway, she goes to a dog-a-cise place once a week, spends the day there, loves playing with all the other dogs, gets to swim in the pool... sometimes helps herself to a dip.... loves the walking machine... and has been used as a buddy dog for new dogs to the centre, cause she just loves to play.

They have classes over there aswell, basic obedience etc. There is agility courses, you know the kind - weave in and out of poles, go through tunnels, see saws things.

Now when i got dizzy, she is a pure bred lab, of show quality, and i can show her if i want, and actually wanted to, but.... last few days, and chatting with her breeders (friends of mine who i house sit for) and the lady over at daycare, we think dizzy would LOVE agility. And it would bring a massive bond between me and her, not that its not big now, she already has my personality - cant sit still, easily bored....

So when i start her at agility, im going to blog our progress......... hehe.

So, agility classes are weds arvos, $10 bucks a session. Will be starting mid september (ppl I house sit for are going away, live too far from town).

I was watching vids of it the other night, friggen awesome.

They reckon Dizzy is going to love it. Be a bit dif to a normal breed of agility dog, to use a lab!

mind you she taught herself, one day i was sitting at my pc, and turned round and went wtf as her ass disappeared under my bed! Wasnt that hard to associate a word to it, and have her do it without the assistance of the bed lol.

So we just had our first go. 3 runs on the course.

Dizzy and jumps - lmfao and charge ... thru it. Eventually had to drop to the lowest rung.

Aframe - basically was terrified got to the top and was like wtf.

The tunnel - no issues.

Weaving - has to follow the treat.

Bridge - hell no! Me and Robyn had to be on either side of her cause she was scared.

Table sit - fine. Seesaw, holy crap mummmmmmm.

Round 2. Did not miss a beat. Charged up the aframe, bolted over the bridge. See saw, sat and waiting for it to drop.

One lady said omg that was so good.

3rd go, same again, even raised the jumps by one rung!

We are so going back next week!
